Meant to post these pics last night. It was gorgeous out yesterday so we spent most of the day outside.
We met our friends at the Heron Creek Forest Preserve in the morning for a playdate.We had never been there before and it was such a great find! The playground was unbelievable- huge, brand new, & very safe!
I discovered this little cricket had hopped onto E's buddy's, L, hat.
He didn't seem to mind one bit.

We had so much fun that, after we went home to take a much-needed nap and eat lunch, we went back in the afternoon. I brought my bike and trailer and took E for a little nature ride and then we played at the park with the other kids. We'll be back.
And, since he stayed up ALL afternoon, I set him up with buckets of water and his pool toys.
