Happy 5th Month Birthday, Baby C.!!!

Our precious Baby C is now 5 Months old, and full of grins and giggles.  We just went to another Pedi appointment, and he is bigger than we anticipated.  At 21.5lbs and 28.5in tall, our 5month old is the size of a 1year old, which would explain why he is wearing 12mth clothing!!!  Really glad we didn't stock up on 0-6mth clothing- Ha!  But, truly, I could cry about how fast our Baby is growing- I was hoping to 'baby' him for a long time.

Highlights from his 4th Months of Age:
*Able to sit for a few seconds, with toys to grasp inbetween his chunky thighs.
*Will pull himself forward when in reclined position.
*Lots of squeals, and laughs.
*Very ticklish when shoulders squeezed and tickled under chin.
*First camp trip.  Yes, we even got C out camping before his first birthday!  (will do a camp post soon).
*Blowing with his tongue.
*Squealing, especially when E. comes to play/entertain him.
*Hungry all-the-time.  He eats 8oz about every 3-4hrs, but seems hungry even between feedings.  Pedi says to hold off on solids for about another month; but, how do you feed a '1year old' 5month??
*Has reached the max of his baby infant carseat, so we just bought another Evenflo Symphony65 yesterday to transition him to in the next couple weeks.  E is so comfortable and secure in his carseat, so we didn't consider any others this time around.
Pretty much how our whole 5th Month photo session went.
Way more interested in what Big Brother is up to!
 Our 5 Month old!
Back in went the hands.
"Slurp, Slurp.  I might look hungry, but I just ate."
 Toesies!
I love how baby toes curl.
Not sure how I managed to get a picture without the 'hands'.

For as much as a distraction as he was, Big Brother kept C. smiling and laughing.
He even shared his toys with his baby brother.
The day we took these photos, the 26th, he sat up for the first time by himself for more than just a few seconds. I think it is the belly fat that keeps him upright- Ha.  As long as he has toys in between his legs he'll stay centered.  I just love curly-swirls my boys have on their heads.

 ALL Smiles.
