Peeping Colin.
It is hard to believe that today was Colin's original due date, and yet he has already been in our arms for more than a week!
And, if you wanted to know what Big Brother thinks...
he just loves on his baby brother and has been Mommy's big helper!
Mommy's extra-set of hands.
B's co-managers bought us this newest piece of baby gear, and Colin loves it.
10 Little Toes.
Our perception of E has dramatically changed since we returned from the hospital. Instead of our little baby, we now look at our adorable first born and see a very bright, energetic, independent toddler. He grew up within a day, and it is oh-so-bittersweet.
E lovin on 'Ca'.
Our papoose.
Colin loves his Kiddapotamus and is in it nearly all day.
He is such a wonderful sleeper and will snooze for hours.
I am nursing on demand, a far cry from the every 2hour regimen that had me exhausted with E, and it has worked out beautifully. I also recently read 'The Better Way to Breastfeed' and it has given me a leap of confidence this second time around.
"Shaken, not stirred"
We finally finished the wall decoration above Colin's crib, but not without an issue.
Let's just say that I recommended that B use a stir stick to stir the paint. He went ahead with the 'shake' method. Imagine Colin's nursery with blue paint splattered all over the carpet, crib, glider cushions and wood, drapery, closet doors. Yes, B spent a many wonderful hours cleaning up all the paint on his hands and knees.
Colin's first bath. As with E, we waited many days to give him his first bath- must be something about that newborn smell. He loved it and practically slept through the whole spa treatment.
Clean and cuddly after his first bath.
Our boys.
E loved posing for these pictures!
So peaceful.
(I just adore this sleeper I picked up for Colin- he's worn it like every other day)
