Snoooowy Fun

Some winter wonderland fun:

We built our first snowman in the front yard.

Ok, more like a glob of snow since it was so cold outside.

It took us longer to get all our gear on than we did staying outside.

How do you teach a baby how to make a snow angel?!?
Total thrill. I haven't gone x-country skiing in 8-10 years! Had to make up for the (downhill) skiing I missed while preggo!!
I can't wait to put Ethan in the carrier and ski around with him.
Guess who's not paying the grocery bill....
He loves shopping and was giggling the whole time.
We've been using the cart since we got his carseat since we can no longer tote him around in it.

When too cold, inside playland. London Tower is about to fall!

I love building him fun block towers to knock over. I'm getting more creative with every one.

I thought this was just too darn cute- he's found a way to carry around his octopus ;)

Things I've learned about babies and wintertime:

*It takes forever to get them dress, get yourself dressed, and get out the door.

*I couldn't stand it, but there's a reason why my mom would sew a string onto our mittens and thread it through our coat jackets. Yep, I totally understand. I'm going to do the exact same thing!

*They can't move at all in their snowsuits.

*Trick to making sure gloves stay on their hands (so you don't have to worry about picking them up from the floor when your hand are already full): put the gloves on first before putting the arms through the sleeves, so that the elastic on the coat wrists holds the gloves on!

*Babies look just too cute when all bundled up!
