What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us. -Ralph Waldo Emerson

It might have been my birthday....
...and, my surprise 3-day get-away to Grand Geneva's Timberridge Resort was fabulous...
...but, it was even better since WE ALL got to have a load of fun!
-especially coming down the big water slide!
E plunged right on in.
We love the lazy river, and even C. got to enjoy it as well.
E loved having his own float from home.
SPLISH-SPLASH
He went down the slides over and over. So much fun.
Ready to go swimming.
He'd wake up in the morning and the first thing he would say is 'E-de wan a go imming', while swimming his arms in the air.
Our little C enjoyed the baby swings hanging over the water.
"Why do my legs feel wet?!?"
The resort grounds has a really cute stable with horse rides and a small petting farm.
Eager to feed the very friendly animals.

Lake Geneva
...And, what do I do while Daddy is golfing at Abbey Springs?? Take the boys out on a ferry cruise, pet the horses, play in the sand, and browse the shops at Lake Geneva, of course!!
Me & our boys.
I had a fabulous day-out with them.
E loved this fountain and lost a couple of pounds running around it numerous times, much to the spectacle of those around. We even tossed in a couple of 'good-luck' coins.
Pic with my 'big boy'.
I got US a little treat, intending to share it between US.
This slurpie doggie had just one owner- ha!
And the slurpie doggie ended up in numerous pics ;)
Our ferry.
Haven't been on it in years.
E loved the fact that he had his own ticket!
HE wanted to give it to the crewmen.
The crewmen did a great job playing along, and were very helpful in making sure he boarded safetly since he was SO insistent that he board all by himself.
Even Baby C. was accessorized for his first boat cruise.
Can't believe that I paid $10 for the bib, but it was just too cute!
Mommy & Baby C. aboard the ferry.
What a fun time with our boys!
E loved this staircase, especially with the water splashing up.
Not quite tall enough (thank goodness!)
The empty, air-conditioned, bottom deck was the ideal spot to let E enjoy most of the cruise (and, suck on his slurpie doggie.
The biggest anchor I've ever seen!
One very happy little boy!
Ha- E just could not wrap his head around this 'Thing'.
We stopped for a lemonade (plenty of liquids since it was 95+) and all he could do was stare this thing down.
We all agreed that Daddy should golf more often at Abbey Springs ;)

"E-de gu too!"
If Daddy goes golfing, then E wants to golf too!!
(E's golf bag was his 2nd birthday present from Mommy & Daddy- planned out 2years prior to having a son ;) Yes, E's bag was pulled from the fire- it was in the laundry room, and B's was in his car. Go figure- both their clubs survive.)
Selecting his club of choice. Who says you can't use a driver on the green?!?
B went golfing at Abbey Springs with his granddad and uncles, but E had to get a round in with him first :) E insisted on playing a round of golf with Dad the minute he woke up and found out Daddy was going to golf. So, his clubs were loaded into the trunk as well.
Daddy loves his little caddie!
Just like Daddy.
"Quiet...."
"Get in the hole!"
"Don't think anyone saw that..." ;)
